A renowned coach leave us : Nick Bollettieri, who revolutionized tennis thanks to his passion but also and above all thanks to real values: rigor and hard work.
He created his famous tennis academy in Bradenton which has seen Agassi, Rios, Seles, Courier, Sharapova, Pierce, the Williams sisters, among others.
My deepest thoughts to his family and loved ones.

Time for the youngsters! It's an unprecedented winner of this Rolex Paris Masters 2022: Holger Rune, a 19 year old Dane who got the best of Novak Djokovic despite being the favorite of the tournament.
With Carlos Alcaraz, Jannick Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Felix Auger-Aliassime, the new generation of men's tennis players is taking shape and this is very good news as the Fantastic 4 will soon all be leaving the circuit.
This tournament also saw the farewell of Gilles Simon, a formidable fighter who reached the 6th world rank. Congratulations for this beautiful career. This golden generation of French tennis is also slowly leaving, only the young father Gaël Monfils and Richard Gasquet remain.

The second ceremony of the federal diploma of the Ile-De-France (IDF) league took place at the Levallois Sporting Club Tennis (LSCT) on October 20th.
About sixty new graduates were gathered at the Louison Bobet Stadium in the presence of the Mayor of Levallois, Agnès Pottier-Dumas, the President of the IDF league, Germain Roesch, as well as all the teachers of the league and the management team of the LSCT directed by Sofiane Guetatfa and chaired by Henri Leconte.
Invited to participate in an event mixing golf and tennis by the group Abama Resort Tenerife, Henri spent a very pleasant stay in this paradisiac place. Thanks to all the team for these beautiful moments of sharing.

The news is out, announced by the principal concerned. We feared it, we apprehended it, we expected it without wanting to believe it, we hoped for a few more matches until the end of the year, but it's now official: Roger Federer is retiring from tennis, at 41 years old. His recalcitrant knee said stop. A few weeks after Serena Williams, it is a second legend of the world tennis who is retiring.
The James Bond of tennis, as Henri affectionately calls him, ends a phenomenal career. He chose to say goodbye in London, during the Laver Cup, his event, surrounded by the biggest names of tennis, with the desire to share this moment that he knows will be very emotional. You don't turn such an important page of his life without a few tears.
There will be a before and after Federer. We'll let the statisticians talk about the records for the umpteenth time, the numbers that are all more unusual than the others. Roger Federer is above all a legend, a person of absolute class, respectful, generous, kind, human, true.
He is a great champion who has brought tennis to a level never before reached, thanks to Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. Between them they won 63 Grand Slam tournaments, leaving only crumbs to their opponents.
Roger and Rafa have developed a beautiful friendship over the years. The two are so inseparable and have needed each other so much during their careers that Nadal couldn't help but shed a few tears after playing alongside Roger in his final match. As he shook hands so tightly, he was probably wondering how he would handle this new situation: how to play without Federer on the tour?
That is THE question that everyone is asking: Federer irreplaceable, how to remotivate oneself, to try to fill this abyssal void? Henri has told us over and over again: enjoy this extraordinary period that these three champions have made us live through because the rest will be hard! Federer is leaving, Nadal is going to be a father and old (36 years old). Djokovic can still break some records, but who else can create a nice emulation, motivate the troops and give a boost to tennis?
If we can't find an answer to this enigma, let's salute Mr. James Bond Federer once again: thank you for all the fabulous moments that you have made us live during these so many years. 1922 - 2022. The Tennis Club du Perreux where Henri hit his first balls is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Henri Leconte was a special guest for this anniversary and returned to the courts of his childhood. After doubles matches (men's and mixed), he had the children of the club play, very impressed and eager to do well.

Youth triumphs! Indeed, Iga Swiatek 21 years old and Carlos Alcaraz 19 years old each won their first US Open, the Spanish also becoming the new world number 1.
On the women's side, the Polish woman is more and more imposing by winning her 3rd Grand Slam tournament.
Congratulations to Caroline Garcia who reached the semi-finals after a superb summer and is back in the world's Top 10.
A huge thank you to Serena Williams who probably played her last tournament. Thank you and congratulations for her incredible career and for all that she has contributed on and off the court.
On the men's side, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz is a double winner: first Grand Slam title and new world number one. Rafa Nadal already has his successor!
With Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic absent and Rafa Nadal a little short physically and eliminated early, the draw was quite open and we saw many close matches and some great attacking tennis, especially with Frances Tiafoe and Nick Kyrgios.

The new star Iga Swiatek wins her 2nd Roland Garros at only 21 years old and remains on an impressive streak of 35 consecutive wins! World number 1, she is now the boss of women's tennis.
On the men's side, King Rafael Nadal makes History by winning his 14th French Open! It is an extraordinary feat. With a foot injury, not knowing if and how he was going to play, he inherited a very difficult draw (including an explosive quarter against Novak Djokovic and a very tough half against Sasha Zverev who had to quit after two sets and 3 hours of play). He won the title by beating the Norwegian Casper Ruud, 6th in the world who trained at his academy, in 3 sets.
Kind, generous, humble, Rafa is an immense champion. He, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have made us live an exceptional period of time that we still don't really realize. Let's enjoy them until the end because their « sporting retirement » is near.

Unanimously appreciated by the tennis world, he is an immense champion winner of 22 tournaments, 3rd in the world, who stops due to numerous injuries and operations on his wrists and knees.
At 19, he won the US Open by defeating Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer.
He is a double Olympic medalist (bronze in London, silver in Rio).
